THE SETUP

How a setup runs

Most of a setup is deciding who gets what message — the build itself is quick. Here are the four steps, and what we need from you at each one.

  1. Step 1

    The kickoff call

We ask how calls reach you now: who answers, who doesn't, and what happens when nobody does. You tell us roughly how many calls a week you think you're losing, and which ones hurt most. We tell you what we'd change, and whether it's worth doing at all.

What we need from you: your business number, and the person who knows what happens to a call after it rings.

  2. Step 2

    We build it with you

We write the text-back in your words — the way you'd greet a caller, not the way software would. We write the two or three questions you'd ask before quoting, and the rule for who hears about what. You read every message before it goes anywhere.

What we need from you: half an hour with whoever answers the phone, and the list of who gets told what.

  3. Step 3

We test it on your number

We run real calls through it: one that rings out, one where the caller replies and then goes quiet, one at eleven at night. It happens on your own phone, so you see exactly what your customers will see. Wording that reads wrong gets rewritten before go-live, not after.

What we need from you: twenty minutes with your phone in your hand.

  4. Step 4

    Go-live day

We turn it on for your business number, and the first real missed call after that gets the same text back as the test. Nobody has to remember anything — the call itself triggers it. We watch the first day closely.

What we need from you: tell your crew the texts come from your number, so nobody thinks it's a stranger.

After launch

What we watch afterwards

Monitoring. We read the conversations as they come in, and go back over the ones that stalled — the caller who never replied, the lead nobody picked up. Those are the ones worth telling you about.

Adjustments. Wording changes when callers keep asking the same thing. Questions get added when a new job type turns up. Routing changes when your team does.

Support. One place to ask, answered by the people who built your setup. If something breaks, it's ours to fix.

Boundaries

What this is not

Not a voice on your phone. Nobody answers your calls for you, and nobody pretends to be your receptionist.

Not software you learn. Messages arrive as ordinary texts. There's no app to open and no login to check.

Not a promise of a number. We can't tell you how many jobs it will recover, and we won't pretend to.

Bring us a call you missed last week

We'll walk through what the system would have done with it, on a short call, with no slide deck.

No obligation. If it won’t help your business, we’ll say so.
